Forgiven, Yes You!

Forgiveness IS so much easier than we make it out to be. So often we bind it up with our emotions and expectations and put conditions on it. Why, because as individual believers we haven't taken ownership of the forgiveness we inherited from Jesus Christ. Simply put, you can't give away what you don't have.

We rationalize forgiveness when we set standards of who should and shouldn't be forgiven. Ever heard that saying I can forgive but I'll never forget? Yet that is exactly what the Lord has done for us!!!!

Who is a God like You,
removing iniquity and passing over rebellion
for the remnant of His inheritance?
He does not hold on to His anger forever,
because He delights in faithful love.
19
He will again have compassion on us;
He will vanquish our iniquities.
You will cast all our sins
into the depths of the sea.

When you begin to walk in forgiveness, you start to walk in uncharted territory and that becomes scary. Falling completely into the greatest gift given is total faith. Taking ownership of your salvation and being an ambassador of Christ by paying forward the same forgiveness given you; that my friend is true gratitude.

So what is stopping you from being able to say, "Thank You God, I am forgiven!"
